Why we built ReHarvest™️ (and what a paddock has to do with your CRM)

The name ReHarvest™️ didn't come from a brand workshop or a naming exercise. It came from an observation I made working inside some of Australia's largest businesses - and one that kept repeating itself regardless of the industry I was working in. Relationship-driven businesses are extraordinarily good at building trust. They earn customers through genuine connection, consistent delivery, and personal reputation. And then, almost universally, they stop tending to those relationships the moment the immediate transaction is complete. The follow-up doesn't happen. The database grows. The relationships go quiet. And year after year, the revenue that could have been recovered fro those warm, existing connections is left sitting idle while the business spends money trying to generate new ones from scratch. The observation that became a product. I spent years as Group General Manager of Marketing at Ruralco Group (now Nutrien), one of Australia's largest rural services businesses. Rural and agribusiness businesses are among the most relationship-driven I have ever worked with. Farmers don't buy from strangers. They buy from people they trust. And those trust relationships - built over seasons, sometimes decades - were sitting in databases that nobody was systematically following up. A rural finance broker with ten years of loan enquiries. An input supplier whose account managers had retired, taking their client relationships with them. A water broker whose seasonal contacts had drifted between transactions. In agriculture, a paddock doesn't yield once. It yields every season - if it is tended to. The same customer can be a customer again. The same relationship can generate revenue again. The crop is already there. It just needs to be harvested. ReHarvest™️ was built when I decided to fix the problem of client crops (ie: databases) remaining dormant. It's not just agribusiness The metaphor started in rural Australia. But the problem exists everywhere the relationship is the asset. Rural finance brokers with seasons of dormant enquiries. Mortgage brokers who paid $150 a lead and followed up twice. Buyers agents with inspection lists nobody called. Business brokers with registered buyer interest that was never systematically worked. Lawyers with estate planning enquiries from 2022 that went cold when life got busy. Every one of these businesses has a database full of warm relationships they've stopped tending to. ReHarvest™️ is the system that goes back in and tends to them - with automated, personalised outreach that books appointments directly into your calendar. No cold calls. No ads. No new leads to generate. Just the revenue that was already there, waiting to be harvested.
